Is it acceptable for a female to send flowers to a guy?

It seems a little cheezy to me. Do men really like getting flowers? Isn't that a feminine thing?

Reply:I think it depends on the guy. For my husband, I've sent him a candy bouquet before and he really liked it. Especially since the "pot" was a ceramic vintage car.
Reply:I love getting flowers. Here's a thought. A one time girlfriend sent me a Chicago Cubs theme flower bouquet. It had a Cubs pint glass as the vase, red, white, and blue flowers, and a note that invited me over to watch the game with her. I put the flowers in a pickle jar on the table, rinsed the pint glass, stopped off at the store for her favorite beer, and had a great time with her watching the old ball game. I won't tell you if I made it past 1st base. Maybe you could do something like that for whatever he's into.

Although he is going to deeply appreciate in when he is alone he might turn on the macho tough guy with others around, and say things like, " What a dumb girl getting me flowers". But if you send them to where he is going to be alone and he has time by himself to think about the person and the reason you sent them then that would be a very good thing.
Reply:I guess its acceptable, but why would you want to? He would most likely prefer that you spent the money on something useful or that he likes. Guys are less senimental than girls, in genral, and flowers are purely sentimental and decorative. Spend the 20 dollars you would have spent on roses on something like a poster of a sports team he likes, or movie tickets for the two of you.
