What can I say to get my ex to move on? He wants to see me, send me flowers calls and tells me he loves me?

I do care for him, but IM ready to move on.

I dont want to hurt him but how can I get him to stop being so emotional about me?

No wonder you are done with him. He sounds like a big wussy. I know you want some excitement and a little challenge. Another nice guy bites the dust!!! When are those losers ever going to learn?
Reply:Honey, you're going to have to hurt him. Tell him and move on. You don't have to be rude but anyway you slice this it's going to suck.
Reply:Sadly if you worry too much about his feelings you are not listening to your own....just tell him like it is, and no you probably can't be friends, this will send him mixed signals.

Reply:If I were you I would tell him that you don't have feelings for him like he does for you. Don't lead him on, like when he tells you he loves you tell him " Me too, you're a really cool friend." Reply:Tell him to stop calling you, block his number, send back anything he gives you. Don't accept anything from him.
Reply:I have been through this before, have him meet with you in person and you tell him that you no longer love him, which you have moved on. (If you feel uncomfortable to do so, then you can write a letter/e-mail.) Make the note a little lengthy so the message can be a little repetitive for it to somehow to get to him. You finish that off with the fact that you still do care about him and that you would like to be friends but for him to stop doing things that he is doing until he is ready to be friends because he is pushing you further away from wanting to be around him as friends.
