it is not that you have to do those things to get into her good books.when a woman tells you that she does not get those things from you, it is not usually driven by greed or an undieing need to be spoilt , but to be appreciated and treasured.



it may be difficult to verbalise it as such for a host of reasons,such as for fear of being seen as emotionally needy or most likely we don't like to have to spell out our needs to men. when we start saying you should help do the dishes or take me out because i am sick of the monotony of being in, it basically kills the romance a bit.

i would hazard a guess that most women would like their men to do those things ,because it is their desire to do so and not because we have beaten you into submission with our constant nagging.



If you really want to understand women ,and be in their good books as you call it, you should defintely become a good listener. you have done well by coming here to try and understand,now you can take it further by reading books which will give you a great insight into relationships. women are not scared to do this, for some reason , a lot of men think it is a waste of time. trust me that you will make life easier for yourself if you do that. it amazes me how women will eventually go seek councelling when they are troubled in their relationships, but most men cower from this. i have views on why they do that, but i am going off the garden path a bit.



i would recommend books by Tony Humphreys, as they are simple and short to read. His views are unique and i have never seen them before, but they make total sense. it makes me understand why people behave as they do in relationships,whether in a partnership or child -parent relationship, which makes it easier to know how to act in reply.
