Can u send an ex flowers? more info and CLARIFICATION %26amp; please tell age and gender when responding?
I suggest that u forward him this very message. If he knows you well %26amp; if the two of you have been sincere to each other in the past this message would serve your purpose much better than the flowers will. Its a good thing that there is no bitterness between the two of u. Good Luck %26amp; God Bless u both.(Male-37)
Reply:Most ex's, and i speak from experience on this, mostly just want things to be done. That to me would show no ill feelings, or such. Just leave me alone, Obviously we weren't meant to be, other such statements. That's me. I only end relationships when they are totally futile though.
Basically, all the yadda yadda. If it's over, i say let it be over.
Reply:Don't do it. If he's already in a relationship and happy with it, then please do him a favor and back away. Let him live his life. Not sure why your relationship ended to begin with, but if he's gone on with his life, you should do the same. If your boyfriend rec'd flowers from his ex, regardless of what the card said, YOU would BOTH know the REAL reason for the delivery. You've already talked and "cleared the air", so that should be enough. He has asked you not to do anything, so don't.
(I'm a 30 yr. old female)
p.s. IF you truly want to do something nice to show you're supposedly "over it" and hold no ill will, then why not send him and his girlfriend a gift certificate for a dinner at a nice restaurant? Preferrably, a restaurant you two never dined at together. If you only want to send a gift to him and him only, and you do not want to include his new girlfriend in on such a gift, then it's obvious you are doing it for the wrong reasons.
Reply:I am a 41 yr old male, and wish that you would rethink your stand a little. For you to send him flowers is a nice thought and gesture, but what if he has a new girlfriend?
Put yourself in her shoes for a moment. She see's her man with flowers (or a gift) and she knows that she didn't send them. Now she is starting to question who sent them and why, as well as maybe thinking that he is seeing someone else at the same time. It is just an issue of being un moral and showing lack of concern for the possible problems on the recievers end.
How would you new boyfriend like it if you got flowers from someone other than him??? Doe that make sense to you? It also is a form of desperation in not wanting to admit that the relationship failed for what ever reason, but that is another issue all together.
Reply:I don't know about flowers. Some guys would be flattered, and others not so much. I'm sure you know when his birthday is. Send him a card with a friendly note in it. Do you know if he has a new woman in his life? Anything too friendly might get her upset. She might think you're trying to get back together. I contacted my ex once by email. He was friendly at first, but after a few emails he asked me to stop because it was upsetting his wife. I wrote him an email saying it shouldn't matter, and she should grow up and get over it, but then I thought again and didn't send it. I just sent one last one saying I understand and goodbye.
My husband still contacts his old girlfriend, and at first I was okay with it, but it got out of hand, and I found some emails that looked like love letters. I asked him to stop, but he keeps going back to her. I am not happy about the situation, but I can't demand he stop, now, can I? Anyway, enough of my problems.
Just send a friendly note and see what happens, but be prepared to be asked to stop at any time.
