I've let down my girl friend, should I send her an email or some flowers?

Actually we have never even met, online only but we know each other for a long time (3-4months).



What would you suggest to do? Wait and see if she sends me an e-mail; send her a nice e-mail or send flowers with a nice goodbye letter to her workplace (I know where she works)

Don't you think it would be more fun to have a girl friend that you can actually talk to face to face, hold hands with, catch a movie etc. instead of just corresponding via e-mail?
