I would like to send flowers to Japan, does anybody know a good website for it? Preferably in english?

A word of warning. Please choose your flowers carefully, they have quite significant meanings here. It depends on the reason also.
Don't send pot plants, especially to someone who is sick.
Do not send white flowers.
Don't send four blooms, or groups of four.
I would go for a small, seasonal, mixed bunch.
OK, no interflora. The only online shop I'm aware of is Hanaya, but it's Japanese only. I don't think you're going to find an English language site. (Hanaya is the Japanese word for flower shop).

Reply:Quite frankly, any website you find in English will most likely be either Teleflora or FTD.
I trust Teleflora far more than FTD. The network that Teleflora links up with in Japan is JapanFTD. A very strong network of florists who are the premiere florists in the country.
you can call 800.Teleflora and let them know that you'd like to place an international order to Japan.
As another person had mentioned, be careful which flowers you order as every flower has some significance or meaning.
Reply:I had this problem when I first arrived in Japan I wanted to send some flowers to my friend in Osaka I was in Tokyo and it was before I had learnt any Japanese and no I found nothing at all - eventually I ordered them in person from a store in Tokyo. I was there just over two years and never came across a Japanese site in English that has flowers sorry to say.
